What we process
When you request an interpretation, we process your question, card numbers and orientations. If you select Card 0, this includes your stated action and the Card of the Cost. Comparisons also include choice names, the shared criterion, time horizon and independent three-card readings. The server stores the order, question, cards, payment status and generated answer so the same purchased interpretation can be completed or retried without another payment. We do not store payment card details; Stripe handles payment.
If you select “Save to archive”, your question, cards and answer are also kept in this browser's local storage (localStorage), up to 50 readings and 50 comparisons. Your order identifier and access token are stored on your device to recover a purchase. The latest comparison is retained automatically on the device to avoid losing it on return from payment. You can view or delete saved entries or download a text copy. The local archive does not sync to another device.
Interpretation and providers
Your question and selected cards are sent to the app's server when you request a detailed interpretation. Your question, layout and the system's internal reference material are used by the OpenAI API to compose a personalized interpretation. The internal reference material is not sent to the browser or included in the answer delivered to you. If generation fails, an error message appears and you can retry the same purchased reading without another payment.
For detailed interpretation, the app requests that the response not be retained as stored service state (store: false). This does not remove any provider security or abuse-monitoring logs. The server also records technical details about interpretation requests (requested and returned model, OpenAI identifiers, duration, token usage and status), without question text or secret keys in technical logs. Website access may also generate operational logs at the hosting provider.
The purpose is to deliver your reading and operate the service securely. Processing your submitted questions is necessary for the service you request. Basic technical logs rely on the legitimate interest in secure operation. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area in accordance with their own settings and safeguards. See the OpenAI API data settings.
Analytics and choices
We optionally use Google's Google Analytics 4 for aggregate visitor statistics. It loads only if you select “Accept”. Rejecting it does not affect readings or purchases. You can change your choice using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser.
Google Analytics may process technical device and browser details, visited pages, time and general area, using optional cookies. We do not send questions, cards, answers or order identifiers as analytics data. Page and referral addresses are sent without purchase parameters. Google may process data outside the EEA in accordance with its safeguards. See Google's privacy notice. Withdrawing consent stops collection by the app and removes Analytics cookies that this website can delete; data already sent is not automatically deleted.
Retention and your rights
Server orders and responses are retained for delivery, support and transaction records in accordance with applicable obligations. Readings stored in your browser remain until you delete them or clear browser data. Deleting a local archive entry does not automatically delete server transaction records. Messages you send us are retained as long as needed to respond and meet any legal obligations.
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, or object to processing where these rights apply. Send your request to trace216.system@gmail.com. You may also contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
